About Mickey

Mickey Kiernan is a seasoned real estate professional based in the Siesta Key office of Michael Saunders & Company. Originally hailing from Cape May/Wildwood, New Jersey, Mickey now calls Sarasota home. Dependable, hardworking, and attuned to her clients' needs, Mickey has built a stellar reputation in the real estate industry. Having experienced diverse markets and completed numerous transactions, she possesses a proven track record that provides her clients with confidence and support throughout their real estate experience.

 

Over the course of her career, Mickey has developed a wealth of knowledge in oceanfront living, specializing in second home properties, condominiums, and residential and commercial properties.

 

Previously, she oversaw operations at Seapointe Village, a gated oceanfront community in Diamond Beach, NJ, where she managed all aspects of real estate and property management, including sales, marketing, and customer relations. Some of her special designations include Resort and Second-Home Property Specialist (RSPS) and Vacation Rental Management Professional (from VRMA).

 

Mickey works with the core values of integrity and dignity, firmly believing that one's word and a sense of pride in hard work serve as the cornerstones for both personal and professional fulfillment. She believes that creativity and patience are essential during the real estate process, often leading to new perspectives and opportunities for her clients. Her strengths lie in her unwavering determination and winning attitude, which have propelled her career in real estate for over 22 years.

 

Beyond her professional endeavors, Mickey involves herself in charitable organizations. Former ones include the Lower Township Chamber of Commerce, Waves for Water, the Surfrider Foundation, and The Beachcombing Center Museum. After Hurricane Sandy hit in 2002, Mickey volunteered to collect and store donated furniture and household items for affected communities, ultimately being able to furnish over seven homes.

 

Mickey loves living in Sarasota and experiencing its different environs, from its pristine beaches to its active city life and charming local towns, all within convenient driving distance. Her love for the area’s beaches has led her to become an ardent beachcomber and seaglass collector as well as relishing the vibrant culture and dining options the Sarasota area has to offer.
